OUR FAST-TRACK
PREPARATION RECORD HOLDERS

EVEREST (8 848 m)

From sea level (starting in New York) to the summit in 3 days 23 hours

Andrey Ushakov set a world record, summiting Everest without a month-long stay at base camp, without rotations, without doping, and without xenon.

What made this result possible

  • More than 400 hours of hypoxic training
  • Medical monitoring
  • Individual training strategy
  • Real‑time physiological data analysis

ACONCAGUA (6,961 m)

In 18 hours 43 minutes without extended acclimatization

The team climbed straight to 4,400 m, without rotations or gradual altitude gain. They waited for their summit window right there at altitude. Not a single sign of altitude sickness.

What made this result possible

  • Preliminary hypoxic training
  • Monitoring of physiological parameters
  • Individual adaptation strategy
  • Preparation of the body before the expedition

OJOS DEL SALADO (6,893 m)

10 hours from base camp to the summit

After 5 months of preparation using the OWNTOP methodology, Arseniy Kukanov reached the summit in about 10 hours, keeping up a fast pace and recovering quickly after the climb.

What made this result possible

  • Individual physical training
  • Hypoxic training
  • Recovery monitoring
  • Working with physiological data

ANNAPURNA I (8,091 m)

The world’s most dangerous peak in 25 hours

Alexander Bachman and Vladimir Kotlyar set off at 8:00 pm — 3 hours later than the other groups — but overtook all of them thanks to excellent physical and hypoxic conditioning and a fast pace. They summited, descended to base camp, and flew out to Kathmandu while other teams were still at camps 3 and 4. On Annapurna, speed is safety: they crossed the dangerous sections at night, when avalanche risk was lowest.

Israfil Ashurly and Alexander Bachman set off at 8:00 pm — 3 hours later than everyone else. They summited, descended to base camp, and flew out to Kathmandu while other teams were still at camps 3 and 4. On Annapurna, speed is safety: they crossed the dangerous sections at night, when avalanche risk was lowest.

What made this result possible

  • Preliminary acclimatization
  • Precise exit strategy
  • Control of movement pace
  • Physical and psychological preparation

WHAT MATTERS ISN'T THE RECORD,
IT'S WHAT MAKES IT POSSIBLE

Every record is the result of comprehensive preparation:
hypoxic training, monitoring of physiological markers, an individualized plan, and ongoing support.
The appropriate expedition duration, acclimatization strategy and preparation timeline depend on the individual, route and expedition conditions and cannot be guaranteed in advance.

ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS

Do you guarantee that I’ll reach the summit?

No. No preparation program can guarantee a successful summit. Weather, route conditions, illness, individual response to altitude, expedition logistics, and other factors can all influence the outcome.

What we can do is help you prepare systematically — physically, physiologically, and mentally — and give you the knowledge and tools to better understand your condition, recognize warning signs, and make more informed decisions in the mountains.

I’m worried I won’t be able to complete the climb

That concern is common, especially when you’re preparing for a new altitude or a more demanding objective.

OWNTOP gives you a structured, step-by-step preparation framework covering physical training, altitude preparation, nutrition and recovery, mental preparation, equipment, and altitude safety.

The goal is to help you arrive with a clearer understanding of what to expect and how to prepare for the demands of your specific objective.

I’m worried that my health or physical condition might let me down

The program includes a health screening checklist that you can discuss with your doctor before beginning your preparation.

It also helps you assess your current physical readiness and identify areas that may need additional attention before your expedition.

If you have an existing medical condition, concerning symptoms, or questions about whether a particular climb is appropriate for you, medical evaluation and clearance should come from a qualified healthcare professional.

I’ve already had an unsuccessful climb. Can I prepare differently next time?

Yes. A previous unsuccessful attempt does not necessarily mean that the same outcome will happen again.

We look at factors that can influence an expedition outcome — such as physical preparation, ascent profile, acclimatization strategy, previous altitude response, recovery, nutrition, psychological readiness, and expedition demands.

Understanding what happened previously can help you build a more individualized preparation strategy for your next objective.

I’ve previously experienced HAPE or HACE. Can I return to high altitude?

A previous episode of high-altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE) or high-altitude cerebral edema (HACE) is medically significant and should be evaluated before another high-altitude expedition.

Before returning to altitude, we recommend discussing your history and future plans with a physician experienced in altitude medicine or an appropriate specialist.

If you are medically cleared to return to altitude, your preparation can then take your previous episode into account. This may include a more conservative ascent and acclimatization strategy, individualized pre-acclimatization where appropriate, closer monitoring, and a clear emergency and descent plan.

OWNTOP can support the preparation and performance aspects of this process, but it does not replace medical evaluation or medical clearance.
